My Education and Professional Background
I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in English Language Learners. I am a National Board Certified Teacher in Literacy & English Language Arts. I began teaching in 2010 in Tukwila, Washington. While I was there, I taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades! I moved to AZ in 2016 where I taught 3rd and 4th grade in Tempe, AZ. I am so excited to be at Bologna!
My Educational Philosophy
It is my job as an educator to provide students the tools they need to be successful community members. I set high expectations for all of my students and provide them the scaffolding they need to grow. I value the power of student choice and utilize it to cultivate student learning.
