Welcome and thank you for visiting! I am proud to be working with smart 6th graders this year and I look forward to see each one of my students grow academically, socially, and emotionally. My classroom is a safe place for student learning. I will challenge each child to do his or her best in order to help develop a habit of excellence.
My Education and Professional Background
My background includes certification and experience in both general and special education. I have a Master of Arts Degree in special education as well as a Master Degree in Educational Leadership with Principal Certification. I have enjoyed teaching 5th and 4th grade, co-taught 2nd grade, and self-contained special education. I am grateful for those experiences as well as being team lead and new teacher mentor in my previous school district.
My Educational Philosophy
My educational philosophy is simple: all children can learn. Sometimes it may take longer, but all children can and will learn through caring, patience, creativity, and hard work.
