Keep up to date with your child's grades by signing up for and viewing grades/assignments on Infinite Campus:
Welcome to Special Education at CTA-Freedom! I am thrilled to be your child’s Resource Teacher and the Dept. Chair for Special Ed at our campus! Please feel free to reach out to me with any of your questions or concerns involving Special Education. I love spending time with my wonderful husband and two beautiful children. We are always busy with activities like swimming, golfing, ice-skating, biking, and playing in the yard. My favorite place to be is the beach!
My Education and Professional Background
I am so excited to be your child's resource teacher. I have many years of combined experience teaching Fourth Grade, Special Education, and Eighth Grade Chemistry and Physics. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Special Education from Arizona State University and then obtained my Master's Degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Counseling, from Northern Arizona University.
My Educational Philosophy
As a teacher, I strive to create an environment where your child will feel successful. I look forward to learning about your child, their strengths, and their interests. I promise to keep high expectations for your child while also doing whatever I can to make the curriculum fun and interesting. I hope that you will always feel free to contact me with any questions, concerns, or suggestions.
