My Educational Philosophy
I consider teaching an amazing opportunity to inspire today's world. My lessons are designed to meet the needs and desires of the students. Each student is accepted as an individual with specific needs, talents, and ambitions. My lessons stress continuous progress toward challenging yet attainable goals. To me, teaching is about making a lasting impression in the heart and the mind of each student whose life I have the opportunity to be a part of. In turn, I trust that those students will ignite a love of learning in others. It is a privilege to be a teacher, a person who has the opportunity to make a profound impact on the lives of so many. I recognize that I must be a positive role model for all students. I exemplify compassion, curiosity, and a love for learning; characteristics that I strive to promote among my students. I love teaching because it allows me to learn something new, either from continuing education, staff development, or even better yet, from my students, each day!
