My Education and Professional Background

Bachelor of Arts with Honors in History, University of Cincinnati / Master of Arts in Elementary Education, University of Phoenix / Master of Education in Educational Administration, Grand Canyon University / This is my 15th year teaching. I have taught 4th, 5th, and 8th grades. Additionally, I pioneered a Kindergarten-6th grade STEM Lab at CTA Independence. This is my second year as a 6th grade teacher for Elementary Connect at COA.

My Educational Philosophy

I believe all students can learn. While learning may be challenging at times, I think with perseverance and problem-solving strategies students can find success.

As an educator, I seek to provide students with numerous learning activities combined with positive reinforcement, which I believe help students achieve their academic potential. My goal as a teacher is to focus on skills that will help students become life-long, global learners.
