Welcome to first grade! I am Mrs. Moreno. I am excited to work with your child and show them learning through different lenses each day. In my classroom, we create a loving community where we are free to explore and feel confident in our first year in school!
My Education and Professional Background
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with Early Childhood Endorsement from Arizona State University.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that a child learns best when they feel loved and safe. That is why I implement many strategies throughout the day that focus on the social-emotional well being of students while fostering each of their individual strengths and providing support where needed. I also believe that relationships with parents is key to educational success.
