• AMS Basha Academic Pentathlon

AcPen Club meets every Tuesday and Thursday at 3:20-4:00 pm in Room F220.
Starting Friday October 18th, Ms. Wodarcyk will be adding a Friday Math session in Room C112.
Our coach is Joann Wuthrich and she can be reached via email at wuthrich.joann@cusd80.com
Please contact her with any questions you may have.

Students who wish to participate in competitions or just in the club should attend as often as they are able, however, we believe in the balanced student and if there are conflicts with other clubs or after school activities we want students to attend those other activities and come when they can to our AcPen Club meetings, where we study the curriculum and prepare for competitions together. Please let Ms. Wuthrich know if you will be competing but not attending regularly club meetings regularly. It is still possible to succeed by studying at home without attending the club meetings, but success should increase with attendance.

Arizona law ARS 43-1089.01 enables taxpayers a tax credit contribution of up to $400.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married, filing Joint Return; $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Single or Head of Household; and, $200.00 per calendar year if filing status is Married filing separate return — for contributions that fund extracurricular activities in public schools. A tax credit is a full refund, not a deduction.

Contributions eligible for a tax credit are donated directly to schools, not to the state or the school district.
