    Forms and Documents REQUIRED prior to trying out

    2.  AIA Physical Form  - CLICK HERE & CLICK HERE

    This form must be printed, completed AFTER March 1st, and then uploaded to Register My Athlete. 

    3.  Register My Athlete/Athletic Clearance - Click Here  (Have everything submitted by May 5th)

    Register and upload documents. Chrome, Safari, or Firefox need to be used

    4.  Parent/Dancer 2021-2022 Pom Contract (Handed out on the first day of tryout clinics) 

    Read, sign, and turn into the coaches before the last day of tryouts. 


    ♦All those planning to participate in tryouts must complete an athletic clearance packet on Register My Athlete. 

    ♦ You must be cleared in order to participate in tryouts.

    ♦ Athletes will be responsible for checking their status on register my athlete.

    ♦ Your status must show CLEARED before tryout week begins.

    Double-Triple Pirouettes

    Single leg hold turn

    Strong pom motions

    At least 3 eight counts of a la secondes

    Jumps/Leaps ( toe touch, seconds)

    Captivating performance quality

    Ariel (working towards)

    Flexibility on both sides

    Time Commitment

    All Perry Pom and Cheer athletes are required to cheer at all home football games as well as Girls and Boys home basketball games. Varsity squads will also travel to away football games and playoff games for basketball. There will be other MSE's (Mandatory Spirit Events) such as practices, assemblies, parades, fundraisers, competitions, and team events that will be worth points toward their spiritline class grade.
