Room: 31 Phone Number: 480-883-5961 I have been teaching at Hancock for nine years and really enjoy working with children. My goal is to help all my students love learning as much as I do! I look forward to helping students become lifelong learners. My husband, Greg, and I have two children. Lindsey graduated from Boston College and now works in NYC. Our son, Drew, graduated from ASU and started medical school at U of A-Phoenix this year. We lived in Germany for seven years and I will share some of my experiences throughout the year. Exercising is one of my passions. Last year I completed my second Half Ironman triathlon. I also enjoy cooking and reading. I look forward to teaching your child! Room: 31 Phone Number: 480-883-5961 Hello, my name is Meghan Bovard. I am so excited to be teaching third grade at Hancock. This is my seventh year at Hancock; I have taught second, third, and fourth grade. I love teaching third grade because they have such a love of learning. I graduated with my bachelor’s in Elementary Education from ASU, Summa Cum Laude. In December of 2011 I completed my Masters of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from NAU. I am a native to Arizona and am proud to say I am a product of Chandler Public Schools. I
was blessed to have many inspirational teachers growing up and they
sparked my love of helping people. When I am not at school I enjoy
spending time with my family and friends. My husband and I have a son who will be a year in September. He is the light of our lives and we feel so blessed to be his parents. My educational philosophy is centered on being a supportive, kind, and guiding teacher. I
believe each student has their own personality type and it’s my job to
find what motivates them and do my best to keep the classroom a safe
place, the class material engaging, and connect to my students. I love teaching and I am thankful to work with a wonderful team of teachers. |
