In the library this year, we read all ten picture books that were nominated for a Grand Canyon Award for 2021.  The ten titles we read were We Don't Eat Our Classmates, by Ryan T. Higgins, Can I Be Your Dog? by Troy Cummings, The Book Hog, by Greg Pizzoli, The Donkey Egg by Janet Stevens, Eraser, by Anna Kang, Bear Came Along, by Richard T. Morris, The Good Egg by Jory John, Nobody Hugs a Cactus by Carter Goodrich, The Wall in the Middle of the Book by Jon Agee and A Place For Pluto by Stef Wade. After we read all ten, we voted for our favorite.  As a school, Can I Be Your Dog got the most votes.
