    Girl reading Hi! My name is Kim Dwyer. This is my 21st year teaching in the Chandler District, and my second year at Patterson. I have taught kindergarten, first, second, and 5th grade. This will be my second year teaching 3rd grade. I graduated from NAU in 1991 with a degree in elementary education. In 1996 I went back and
    got my masters in Educational Leadership at NAU, but decid    ed I loved the classroom too much to leave.     
     
       I have two children. Vincent, who is a junior at Campo Verde, and  Sami, who is in 7th grade at South Valley. I have 2 dogs, Rocky, (a boxer), Mack (pitbull mix) and a tortoise (Tank).  They keep us very busy. 
     
    Blocks  Third grade is full of a lot of responsibilities.  We will have homework packets sent home on Friday, due the following Thursday.  Students will also have an assignment book to be kept up with so parents will know what is going on daily in our room.  There are also a lot of fun things going on in 3rd grade.  
     
    Please remember our school policy is to check-in at the front office whenever you are on campus.
     
    I am looking forward to a GREAT year in 3rd grade.
