    Technology computers

Students have various opportunities to use technology at Willis.  Students have access to a computer lab in every core class, as well as, netbooks in the classroom, to use technology to aid and enhance the learning. The integration is embedded during various projects.  Students learn how to effectively research information and critically evaluate it to form opinions.  They research open-ended questions to solve problems.  Students are in the lab at least once a week per core academic class, while also using computers in the classroom for various activities.  Students know how to create graphs and charts in excel.  They become proficient with PowerPoint as a presentation tool and try many others as well.  Students collaborate on assignments using Google Docs.  We also utilitze Noodle Tools for collaborative research.  We use a variety of on-line simulations and activities to enhance our curriculum.
