• John Studzinski's Biography

    John Studzinski received a bachelors’ degree in Music Education from Temple University where he studied trombone with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra. He then went on to receive his Master’s degree in Trombone Performance at Michigan State University. After receiving his Masters, John studio taught, performed, and developed The Marshall School of Music in Lansing Michigan. After moving to Arizona, John taught in the Balsz School district for four years before relocating to the Chandler district where he has been teaching for the past 14 years. John Studzinski has been active as the Arizona Music Educators Chair Person for the All-State Bands from 1999-2002. He has been an adjudicator for the Arizona Band and Orchestra Association, and was awarded "Teacher of the Year" at Willis Junior High School in 2006-2007. The Willis Junior High Bands have received constantly high awards at the state band festivals over the past several years. The Willis Junior High Jazz was also features as premier performing ensemble at the Arizona Music Educator’s Conference in 2007, 2008, and 2010 and the Symphonic Band in 2011. The Willis Jazz Band also performed in 2009 at the Internation Midwest Clinic in Chicago , this is the largest Internation Music Conference in the world.
