|| I was born in Mesa, AZ and have lived there most of my life. I attended Mesa High School where I enjoyed activities like Diving, Track, Dance, and Choir; and clubs like NHS, Interact, and Best Buddies. After high school I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science, and my Master’s degree in Bilingual and Multicultural Education.
I began my teaching and coaching career in Mesa Public Schools, then came to Perry when we opened in 2007, which makes me an original member of the Puma Nation! I have taught a variety of different courses here at Perry including Dance, Girls PE, Adapted PE, Weight Training/Aerobics, and Health. I have also coached Track and Diving. My current assignments include Dance and APE Teacher, Head Diving Coach, and Mountain Biking Club Sponsor. My coaching bio can be found on my Diving page.
When I’m not working I enjoy traveling, learning new languages, snowboarding, surfing, backpacking, camping, hiking, and hanging out with my giant dog.
