    Counting and Cardinality:

    ·        Understanding the relationship between numbers & quantities 0-20

    ·        Count to 100 by 1’s and 10’s

    ·        Count forward from a given number within the known sequence

    ·        Write numbers 0-20

    ·        Compare numbers 0-20 presented as written numerals

    ·        Identify greater than, less than, and equal number of objects

    Operations and Algebraic Thinking:

    ·         Represent & solve addition/subtraction word problems

    ·         Decompose numbers within 10,  into pairs more than one way (3+2= 4+1)

    ·         Find the number that makes a 10 when added to a given number (10= ? + 9)

    ·         Fluently add/subtract within 5

     

    Numbers & Operations –Base Ten:

    ·         Compose /decompose numbers 11 to 20 into tens and ones (11= 1 ten and 1 one )

    Geometry:

    ·        Identify 2-dimensional shapes (circle, square, triangle, rectangle, hexagon)

    ·        Identify 3-dimensional shapes (sphere, cube, cone, cyclinder)

    ·        Analyze & compare 2D & 3D shapes

    ·        Model 2D & 3D shapes in the world by building and drawing

    ·        Describe objects in the environment using position terms such as above, below, beside, in front of , behind, and next to

    Measurement & Data:

    ·        Classify objects into given categories & measured attributes (more/less, longer/shorter, heavier/lighter)

    ·        Describe measureable attributes of objects such as length, height, weight, or volume
