My Education and Professional Background
I graduated from California State University Long Beach in 2001. I began my career in teaching in the fall of 2002 at Long Beach Polytechnic High School. My family moved to Arizona and I started teaching at Basha High School in the fall of 2006. I have taught Coordinated science 3-4, 5-6, Biology, Chemistry, AP Chemistry, and developed a curriculum for Forensic Science and Fundamentals of Physical Science. During my current years at Basha High School, I served as the Science Department chair from 2010-2013 and from 2016-present. Currently I am a sponsor for the Asian Cultural Ethics Club.
My Educational Philosophy
A child's mind can be harnessed and cultured to make a difference in the world. It is my ultimate duty and privilege to harness and culture these future leaders to become science literate. Through understanding science they can make a change!
