AP Physics 1 is the equivalent to an introductory physics class at the college level. AP Physics 1 is algebra-based and focuses on conceptual knowledge as well as the application of math. Students will spend much of the class time performing lab experiments, watching demonstrations, and participating in conversations with peers about the behavior and movement of objects. This class covers all the content listed below in three quarters and prepares for the AP exam and final exam fourth quarter.

Students will need one quad-rule notebook for labs and bell-work. I would also recommend buying another one for notes. Below are some examples of acceptable and not acceptable quad-ruled notebooks that can be used in this class.
