    AP Physics 1 is the equivalent to an introductory physics class at the college level. AP Physics 1 is algebra-based and focuses on conceptual knowledge as well as the application of math. This class covers all the content listed below in three quarters and prepares for the AP exam and final exam fourth quarter. 
     
    Two quad-ruled notebooks are required for this course: one for homework and the other for labs and bell work. Below are some examples of acceptable and not acceptable quad-ruled notebooks that can be used in this class.

    About the Exam:
     
    The exam is Thursday, May 7th, 2020 at noon. The exam has two parts: multiple choice and free response. The multiple choice section has 50 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The free response has 5 questions to be completed in 90 minutes. The exam covers these physics concepts:
