Varsity Boys Coach
Coach Anderton is a Spanish teacher at Basha High School. He graduated from BYU – Provo with a degree in Spanish and Business minor. He is starting his 18th year coaching. He competed in cross-country, the 800, 1600, 3200 meters in high school, and ran a season of cross country at BYU-Hawaii. He has run a couple of marathons but now prefers the shorter distances (5K’s and 10K’s).
He and his wife are the proud parents of 4 very active boys. He looks forward to another great year with the team.
Varsity Girls Coach
Coach Orr graduated from the University of Akron (OH) with a degree in Secondary Education and Business. While attending college she was a varsity cross country and track athlete. Since then she has competed in numerous road races and triathlons. She has coached high school athletes for 19 years, 14 in Ohio and 5 at Basha High School.
Coach Orr and her husband, Steve, have 3 kids, 3 dogs, and live in Gilbert. This will be her 5th season coaching XC at Basha High School and she is looking forward to a great season.
