• The functional skills program is designed to provide appropriate instruction using alternate academic state standards and on building academic, functional, social and communication skills so that students can be successful living independently. The functional curriculum is based on student’s goals and objectives and has a pass/fail and letter grade system and letter grades in English and Math. Mainstreaming within the general education environment may occur as deemed appropriate by the IEP team. Students are assessed using MSAA and AIMA-A Science.
