1.) Students interested in requesting information from Chandler Gilbert or any of the Maricopa Colleges are welcomed and encouraged to fill in a form available at cgc.edu/Recruitment . Filling in this form allows them to get some key information from them to keep in contact and support their progress through our enrollment process. This form connects to a new system that will allow us to help the student more efficiently.2.) As Juniors/Seniors start to explore their options for college, they have opened up campus tours that students can sign up for. Students/parents/anyone can sign up for tours on their website by clicking on the "Group tours" button under the "Campus Tours" tab. Here's the link: http://cgc.edu/recruitment. Students can apply now for the FALL 2020. New to College students will be able to participate in open enrollment (register for classes) starting in March. Students who have submitted an Information Inquiry or began the Admissions Process will receive this information via the email address they used in their inquire/application.
Registration for New Students opens in March
To be ready, students need to complete the following steps:
- Complete Admissions: Students need to complete the MCC application: https://admissions.maricopa.edu/ (Student must submit ID to be admitted).
- Determine Placement: Submit unofficial transcript or take placement testing. Visit https://www.mesacc.edu/testing-services.
- Attend a New Student Orientation: Students are required to attend and orientations begin on March 18. To sign up: complete steps 1 and 2 and visit: https://www.mesacc.edu/enroll/orientation
- Pay for Tuition: Make payment arrangements. Here are your options:
Option 1 - Financial Aid and Scholarships If you have submitted a FAFSA application and received the "FAFSA Welcome" email notification prior to enrolling for classes, your tuition payment is being postponed until further notice.
Please check your Maricopa Email and Message Center regularly for awarding, scholarships, VA benefits, and new payment due date. If you have any questions, please contact your college financial aid office.
Option 2 - Payment Plan Sign-up for a payment plan to hold your class(es) on the day you register. This requires a $15 down payment and a $20 Nelnet non-refundable enrollment fee, for a total of $35.
Option 3 - Pay in Full You may pay tuition in full using a debit/credit card -OR- checking/savings account -OR- prepaid/re-loadable card. Make online payments (and view bill) using your Online Student Center.

- Maricopa Foundation: Scholarship application deadline for Fall 2019 is coming up on March 17th
Students can apply in the scholarship websites using their MEID and Password.
- Maricopa Community Colleges Scholarships: Requires applicants to complete a FAFSA.
Individual scholarship deadlines vary so check the website. Note that many have March deadlines.
President's Honors Scholarship Program (Application Now Online)
Students graduating with a 3.25 or higher, unweighted GPA* can apply for the presidents honors scholarship. The application is now Online!
Students who already submitted a paper application and received confirmation do not need to complete online application.
