• Our third and fourth grade students visit the lab for various units every six days. 

    Goals & Activities:


    Students continue on the journey with the inquiry process.  They build upon their understanding of the engineering process because the constraints and criteria become more challenging.  Additionally, the unit supports their current Social Studies and Science curriculum and the students are able to make changes when their original design could be perfected in some way.


    In fourth grade students build upon their understanding of inquiry in a scientific manner.  We support this state-wide goal that encourages students to investigate science and technology by providing lessons that support the science curriculum while allowing students to investigate, explore, and think of innovative ways to find solutions to hands-on, real-life situations.  Additionally, students use precise vocabulary and zSpace technology to build a solid foundation with these skills.
