Preschool Fees and Locations

(4 years old by August 31st) Our full day pre-kindergarten programs offered are based on the Reggio Inspired Pre-kindergarten model and the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) preschool model. Both programs are specifically designed to provide children with a solid foundation for the content that children will encounter in their future kindergarten program.

Our Pre-K programs are based on scientific research regarding how young children learn, as well as brain research into the best preschool practices.

Two program options available:
Option 1: 5 days per week, 6 1/2 hours per day without extended care.
Option 2: 5 days per week, 6 hours per day with extended care.
Extended Care Includes: Before care 7:00 – 8:00 a.m. and After care 2:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Children need to be toilet trained to attend preschool.
 

(4 years old by August 31st) A child-centered program that nurtures each child by providing learning experiences that foster social, physical, emotional, cognitive, and language development in a caring and exciting environment. This program emphasizes teaching foundational skills that will help prepare your child for a successful transition into kindergarten.

3-4 year olds (4 years old by December 31) Preschool is a tuition based program designed for children who turn 4 years of age by December 31. Our DLM Early Childhood Express curriculum is designed to build a child’s healthy self-concept and positive attitude toward school and learning. Children develop concrete skills through experiences with music, art, storytelling, and teacher-directed lessons. In addition to skills development, the curriculum emphasizes practice and reflection.

Classes are offered as a two, three, or five day weekly program, which provides a variety of options for families. Preschool classes are 2.5 to 3 hours long, and are offered in the morning or afternoon. Our preschool programs are available to Chandler residents and non-residents as well.
Children need to be toilet trained to attend preschool.
 

Preschool special education services, for children ages 3 to 5 (not of kindergarten age as of September 1st deadline), provide special strategies to help children reach their developmental milestones.

 

Title I preschool programs are funded through Federal and State funds, and are free to Chandler residents who live within the school boundaries of the schools listed. Eligible children must be four years old by August 31st of the current school year. Children need to be toilet trained to attend preschool.
 

The curriculum (available in Spanish and English) is designed for 3- and 4-year-old children. The 32-week curriculum is based on eight storybooks and eight activity books which include lessons in reading, counting, sorting, matching, writing, drawing, movement, cooking, and much more!
