My name is Pam Scott. I am so excited to be teaching 3rd grade here at Goodman Elementary. This school year will be my 30th year of teaching. I'm not quite sure how that is possible. I've taught 1st-4th grades in Maricopa and Chandler. I even taught one exciting year in Japan, although every year has its own special memories.
I earned my Bachelor's of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Arizona State University in 1986 and my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University in 1994. Each year seems to bring new and exciting challenges. I continue to take classes to keep up with our changing times.
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy traveling, cooking up new recipes, and reading. My husband and I especially like exploring Arizona's small towns and visiting our national parks.
I believe all children can learn. It is my job to help each child reach his or her full potential. I look forward to another exciting, rewarding, and challenging school year.
