    5/13 - BGB Proposal Rough Drafts Due. Incl class peer feedback. Bring rough drafts back tomorrow for 2nd round of revision. 

    5/14 - Round 2 of revision. Notes from classFinal drafts due Friday in class. Due to Turnitin.com by 11:59 pm Friday night. No later papers will be accepted! Romeo and Juliet Act 3 homework. 

    5/15-5/16 - Due questions for Act 3. Review Act 3. Read Act 4 of Romeo and Juliet. Selected homework questions. 

    5/17 - Basha Gives Back essays due! No late work will be accepted. Finish Romeo and Juliet

Pick one aspect, one idea and write about how by changing it the world would be a better place. ). 

     * Classwork:  Marley Dias interview. Read and annotate Marley Dias Article and discuss (1- WHat is the problem Dias is trying to change and why? 2- What does she mean by "mirrors and windows"? 3 - Why is it important to read about people who are different from you? 4 - What attributes do you take from your role models?)

    3/27-28 - Writer's Notebook (Vision and action). Discuss Dias article. Station rotation (article titles found on assignment. All articles can be found on the website www.newela.com - Inspiring Kids Station Rotation Assignment

    3/29 - Topic generation for Basha Gives Back 4th quarter proposal

    Week 3.8 - February 25-March 1, 2019

    2/25 - Work on Theme Statements, Theme Practice . Video tutorial on theme.  

    2/26 - Review theme practice. Work on collage. 

    2/27-2/28 - Work on collage. Map Hero's Journey on Star Wars: A New Hope. If students are absent, they need to arrange a time after school to view the film or watch it on their own. They are responsible for the content of the film. 

    3/1 - Watch film. Work on notes. Collage due on TUESDAY. No late work will be accepted.
