Now is the time when you can finally begin to actually write your paper. At this point you probably feel as if you should be done by now and might be tired of the project as a whole; nonetheless, in just a few minutes you will begin to write and you will be amazed at how much smoother it goes. Now you are prepared, now you know what you are going to write about, now you are ready to write.
With all of your planning work in front of you (that is all the work you have done up to this point) focus mostly on your outline. This is the skeleton of your essay and will guide you through the structure of the entire paper telling you exactly what you are to say and what is next. Follow it closely and refer to the other materials for support information or to further any points you might make in your writing.
Be sure to use all the planning work you have completed to help you keep your writing on track and to document all of your work correctly. Remember that your final paper MUST be in correct MLA format; this is a good time to begin that formatting. Open a Word document and write your rough draft.
