Program Overview

Kids Express is our state-licensed before and after school program serving students in kindergarten through 6th grade. We provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment at 26 locations throughout the district where students can participate in hands-on activities, receive homework support, and engage with peers in age-appropriate recreation.

Hours of operation:
Before school: 6:30 am – start of the school day
After school: end of the school day – 6:00 pm

Fees:

Annual Registration Fee	$80 per child (non-refundable)
Before School Only - 3 days/week	$178/month
Before School Only - 5 days/week	$193/month
After School Only - 3 days/week (snack included)	$271/month
After School Only - 5 days/week (snack included)	$348/month
Before & After School 3 days/week (PM snack included)	$336/month
Before & After School 5 days/week (PM snack included)	$377/month

NOTES:

Full payments are due on the first day of the month.
CUSD employees should contact the Community Education office for rates.
There are no daily/drop-in rates offered, only 3 & 5 day a week options.
Monthly rates include early release days but do not include teacher in-service days, holiday camps or intersession camps. Monthly rates remain the same each month (even during months with intersession camps).
Financial assistance may be available on a case-by-case basis. Contact one of our Kids Express Activity Coordinators for more information.

We accept DES childcare assistance for Kids Express for eligible families.*

“The Division of Child Care provides childcare assistance to eligible families who participate in employment activities and specific education and training activities related to employment by providing financial support intended to offset a portion of childcare costs. This financial support allows families better access to high-quality, early care and education settings for their children.”
