The CUSD Heat Index temperature is calculated using air temperature and the relative humidity or dew point. Follow these steps to determine the heat index:
1. To get the temperature and humidity for the zip code of your practice and/or competition location go to http://weather.yahoo.com
2. For Heat Index, enter temperature and humidity at http:www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/htnl/heatindex.shtml
3. Input temperature and humidity.
4. This website will then calculate the heat index.
