This immersive, hands-on course introduces students to the core principles and advanced applications of automation, robotics, and manufacturing mechatronics, with a specialized emphasis on their roles in modern manufacturing and the growing semiconductor industry. Students will explore how mechanical systems, electronics, control technologies, and software are integrated to create smart manufacturing environments. By the end of the course, students will have completed hands-on projects that reflect authentic industry practices and technologies, preparing them for advanced education in engineering, robotics, or mechatronics—or for direct entry into the fast-growing fields of high-tech manufacturing and semiconductor production.
