CTE Programs Offered with Course Sequence

The purpose of Career and Technical Education is to develop future-ready students by preparing them for college expectations and labor-market demands. Each CTE Program integrates core academic knowledge with technical and professional skills to provide students with a pathway to postsecondary education and careers.

The goal of the CUSD CTE Department is for each student to become a completer in at least one program. To qualify as a completer, each student must complete a minimum of 2 or 3 years in a specific program. The majority of CUSD CTE programs are considered two year programs, with the exception of Agriscience, Air Transportation (Drone Operator), Automotive Technologies, and Engineering, which are 3 year programs.

Students can choose to participate in a program area capstone course by enrolling in an Internship program. See the current CUSD High School Course Catalog for more details.
