Graduation Requirements
The ultimate goal of the high school experience is that students successfully master a solid, comprehensive 4-year curriculum, preparing them for a variety of post-secondary opportunities. CUSD believes that students are best served by enrolling in challenging courses that prompt them to maximize their academic skills and develop strong study habits. We are committed to providing our students with the necessary knowledge and tools to be lifelong learners and productive, conscience members of their community.

Note: Students are required to complete specific courses in the certain core content areas in order to meet graduation and/or college entrance requirements. Please see the course catalog for additional information. Courses taken at the junior high level (7th or 8th grade) do not satisfy high school graduation credit requirements. In addition to these requirements, all students are required to pass the state-mandated Civics Test in order to graduate. Special Education students are required to complete the course of study as prescribed in their Individual Education Plan (IEP).
