About
Hodge...
Hello! Welcome to our 4th grade classroom website! It's going to be an amazing year of students learning, growing, and expanding their minds. I am excited to have the privilege of teaching this group of students at Conley Elementary.
My Education and Professional Background
I returned to college as an adult learner in 2006 and received my degree from Arizona State University (ASU) in Multilingual/Multicultural Elementary Education (MLMC) in 2010. With a passion for being a lifelong learner, I continued my education at Grand Canyon University (GCU) and earned my Master's Degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) in 2014.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe that all children can learn and that we all learn something new every day! I consider myself a lifelong learner because I never want to stop learning and growing. I want to teach my students to be lifelong learners as well, so that they will live long, rewarding lives as responsible, productive members of society.
