Bauer...
I am very excited to be a Resource English teacher at Basha High School. This is my 6th year teaching special education but only my second in the state of Arizona. I moved here this past summer from Columbus, Ohio and have enjoyed my many new experiences here in Arizona. This is my first year at Basha High School and I am very grateful to be with an exceptional staff and administrative team.
My Education and Professional Background
I received my BS in Special Education from Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. I taught for 4 years in Ohio before taking an opportunity to coach at Ohio Domincan University in Columbus, Ohio. Coaching at the college level was an amazing opportunity but I realized how much I missed teaching and returned to the classroom this past year at Maricopa High School.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe in promoting a collaborative classroom environment that values each individual student and works to provide them the opportunity to reach their full potential. I will be there to support and reinforce both instruction and organizational skills to guide the students on the path of success.
