About
Armstrong...
Welcome to 8th Grade ELA. This year we will work to be better than our best. Each day will be a time to study, think, and inspire each other.
My Education and Professional Background
I attended the University of Texas- RGV where I earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in 1997. I then spent 15 years working as a classroom teacher in grades 2, 5, 7, and 8. In 2010, I returned to school and attended The University of Phoenix online. I earned a Master of Arts in Education, Administration and Supervision in 2012. It was one of the greatest and most rewarding experiences of my life.
My Educational Philosophy
I believe it is my duty to inspire young adults to become the most amazing people they can become. I try to help them find the best path for them to take to realize their hopes and dreams. Along the way they inspire me, and the world becomes a brighter, better place.
