About
Redd...
Hello and Welcome! My name is Jason Redd and I am glad you have found my page. I have been teaching at Santan Jr. High School since the 2019-2020 school year. Some passions I have are reading, playing with different technologies, and hanging out with my wife and son.
My Education and Professional Background
I have a dual certification in both k-8 general education as well as k-12 cross categorical special education. I started teaching in 2011. I have taught in both an inclusion setting as well as in a pull-out and self-contained setting. I have worked with students from the age of kindergarten through 12th grade.
My Educational Philosophy
My philosophy with students focuses on growth. I believe that my job as an educator is to have my students show growth, be a bit uncomfortable, but ultimately grow each year I have them. I believe that every student can learn and grow and it is up to the team to find ways to harbor that from each student.
