My Education and Professional Background
I graduated in 2019 from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. This is my first year teaching. However, I have significant background in special education, and am thrilled to be at Hull Elementary!
My Educational Philosophy
I view the opportunity to teach as an honor, meaning I do not have to, but I get to. I believe all students have the capacity to learn. This perspective allows me to provide students the most meaningful and relevant opportunities possible, both within the classroom, and the community. It is imperative to view each student as a whole person with feelings, needs, wants, hopes, and a desire to feel significant. I will provide students a classroom environment that is safe and welcoming while promoting academic learning, and overall well-being.
