Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year at Jane D. Hull Elementary! I’m so excited to start this year with your Kindergarteners. This is my first year at Hull Elementary and I couldn’t be more excited to work with each of your children this school year.
My Education and Professional Background
A little more about me...I received my undergraduate degree with a B.S. in Early Childhood/Special Education from Brigham Young University-Idaho. This is my fourth year teaching in special education and my first year here at Hull Elementary. I have worked in toddler and in preschools with children of multiple disabilities. I have worked 3 years as a special education resource teacher in grades Kindergarten-2nd. I’m currently getting my masters in Curriculum and Instruction in Autism Spectrum Disorders through Arizona State University. I have worked with children of all disabilities but have a special place in my heart for those in the Autism community. I look forward to getting to work with you and your child as a team to provided them with the learning tools and opportunities they need!
My Educational Philosophy
My education philosophy is that a teacher’s responsibility is to create a positive learning environment for students, parents, and co-workers, work cooperatively with each other and acknowledges that every student matters and has the potential to learn.
