About Miss Laboranti...
My name is Jaclyn Laboranti and I will be your child's Preschool teacher this school year. This is my first year teaching at Hancock Elementary and I am extremely excited! I recently moved to Arizona from Florida where I was working with Head Start for four years. I have a five year old daughter who is starting Kindergarten this year. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, dog and friends, shopping, reading, watching movies, swimming, and relaxing.
My Education and Professional Background
I come with 10 years of experience in the field of Early Childhood Education. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Child and Society with a concentration in Education. I'm currently in school working on my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction: Early Childhood Education. I am set to graduate from ASU in December 2019!
My Educational Philosophy
Preschool is so very exciting and a great time to partake in a lot of hands on learning, exploration, and play. In the classroom, I will provide each child with opportunities to grow to their max potentials all while ensuring a healthy, safe, positive, and structured environment. I believe that communication and respect are the key elements to your child's success and a great relationship between parents and educators. I welcome any suggestions, comments, questions, or concerns at any time. Your child's education, safety and well-being are my main priorities. I look forward to a great year and being a part of your child's education!
