Hello! My name is Cynthia Britt and I am excited to be at Jane Dee Hull Elementary School.
My Education and Professional Background
I have been a speech language pathologist for over 23 years. I have a bachelors degree from Truman University in Missouri and a masters degree from Nova Southeastern in Florida. Both degrees are in Speech Language Pathology. I am nationally certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), professional license in AZ and teaching certificate in AZ for speech language pathology. My experience has included public schools in Yavapai County in AZ; Austin, Texas; Kansas City, Missouri and now Chandler, AZ.
My Educational Philosophy
Communication is so important. People communicate to be fully part of the human social experience. People communicate in different ways so those around us will know us, appreciate us and be interested in what we have to say. Every child has a voice. Every child is important.
