Virtual Bulldog Day
Normally, we would be inviting all Bogle families to come to the campus for a tour and to retrieve information regarding the new school year. This year, families will not be able to tour the campus. We have put together a virtual version of Bulldog Day on this page. In order to better protect staff and Bogle families, we ask that you try to get your questions and concerns answered via phone call or email as we cannot accommodate crowds or lines on campus.
Schedules- Students and parents will be able to view their student's schedule through the student / parent portal. The schedules will go LIVE on the portal on August 3rd at 9am. If there are concerns with the schedule, you may complete an online schedule-change request form using the previous link. Please keep in mind that they will be dealing with a high volume of calls/emails, so we ask for your patience. **Please note that schedule-change requests for lunch preference or teacher preference will not be honored.
Day 1 / Day 2 Schedule- This document will assist students and parents to keep track of whether each day is Day 1 or Day 2. Students will attend English, Math, Social Studies and Science every day. However, elective classes only meet every other day. The student's schedule will indicate which elective meets on Day 1 and which one meets on Day 2. While working virtually at the start of the school year, have your student reference this calendar to be sure they are attending the correct elective for that particular day.
Academic Teams- Typically, we have teams on our campus which consist of a teacher from the four core content areas. Each student would be placed on a team and all students from that team would have the same four core teachers. As a result of the current health pandemic, some staff have been shifted over to Chandler Online Academy to work with the high volume of students that have transferred. We regret to inform that we will not be able to maintain academic teams in our schedule this year with our current staffing.

Transportation- Your student's bus route information is available in the Parent Portal. Once in the portal, click on "more" in the lefthand column. Then, select "transportation". Please know that masks / face coverings will be REQUIRED for any student who plans to ride a bus as social distancing will not be possible on the bus. Masks must be worn the entire time that a student is on the bus. Bussing will not take effect until IN-PERSON instruction resumes. CUSD Transportation- 480-424-8600
Student ID's- Student ID's will be distributed right after Fall Pictures are taken. Fall pictures will take place soon after IN-PERSON instruction resumes. Once a student has their ID, it is highly encouraged to take a picture of the ID with their phone so they will always have it when they need it. Students need to remember that once they have they student ID, they will be required to show it each time they board a CUSD school bus, check out library materials and to purchase food from the cafeteria.
PE Uniforms- PE Uniforms will be available once IN-PERSON instruction resumes. The required PE uniforms will be purchased during your student's PE class. It is $20 for shorts and a t-shirt. These items are not for sale prior to in-person school starting.

Parent Portal / Online Grade System- Use this link to access information about how to log into the parent portal from a computer or mobile app. The portal is used to view your student's schedule, grades, attendance and pay fees. You can arrange your settings to receive update alerts for student grades and attendance. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you are having trouble with your Parent Portal account.
Required Fees- At this point, we will not be charging any fees for Bogle while students are working virtually. Once students return to IN-PERSON instruction, we will be determining if and what fees may need to be charged. We are hoping to limit charging fees this year to a small selection of competitions/festivals to reduce the financial burden for Bogle families during these tough times. We will not be charging our usual grade-level fee for the 2020-2021 school year.

Yearbooks- Bogle yearbooks are not available for purchase on Bulldog Day. A link will be emailed out to Bogle families sometime during first quarter with ordering information.

COVID-19 Campus Safety Procedures- This information will be updated and communicated once the state has released their guidelines.
Google Classroom Information- By the end of Friday 7/31, we will be sending out information that is critical for parents and students in regard to starting virtual learning on August 5th. This communication will include the following: Google Classroom login instructions, password reset instructions, virtual learning schedule, information regarding parental-support. At this point, we would like for parents to know that while online learning does offer some flexibity for students, CUSD teachers will be hosting LIVE instruction and support with their classes during the scheduled time for each class period. They will also be posting pre-recorded instructional videos and assignments that can be watched and completed outside of the designated class time. More information will be included in our detailed Google Classroom communication later this week.
