About
Grossman...
Welcome to Honors World Studies and OL World History! It is my opinion that World History is fascinating and relevant. I hope to share my passion with you. If you need to get in touch with me, please email me at grossman.jessica@cusd80.com. You can also find all class materials on Google Classroom.
My Education and Professional Background
I received my Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of Arizona and my Master’s degree in Secondary History and English Education from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Before teaching at Hamilton, I taught middle school Social Studies and English in Nashville. I also worked as a museum educator for the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where I developed experiential art and music curricula for teens.
My Educational Philosophy
My biggest goal is for my students to feel empowered through history. I want students to actively contribute to the historical narrative we study. It’s rewarding to see students develop into historians, authors, and leaders.
