About
Wallace...
Welcome to 8th Grade Science! Although this year will look different from previous schools years, we are still going to explore the world around us and have some fun too. I'm excited to be apart of Casteel and look forward to learning what it means to be a Colt. Science is my passion and I can't wait to share all the cool phenomenon our planet offers as well as some good science jokes.
My Education and Professional Background
Bachelor Degree from Baldwin Wallace University in Middle Childhood Education (grades 4-9), May 2017, Endorsements: Middles Grades Science and Social Studies 6th/7th/8th Grade Science at Buckeye Elementary School District #33, July 2017-May 2020
My Educational Philosophy
As an educator, I believe that by giving students the right tools we can equip them for the needs of modern day society. Skills such as critical thinking and problem solving are main components of my classroom. Growth mindset not only fosters academic risk taking, but gives students a safe and compassionate environment for their social and emotional needs to develop.
