My Education and Professional Background
Education and Professional Background (part 1) I am a proud CUSD alum. I attended Santan Junior High and Basha High School. In college I attended Southern Nazarene University in Oklahoma where I played football and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies Education. After graduating, I spent a year in Oklahoma teaching U.S. History before my wife and I packed up and moved to Europe for a year to live and study in Vienna, Austria. I recently moved back where I spent a year teaching a Legacy Traditional School in Chandler. This will be my first year at ACP and I am excited to see what the future holds for us!
My Educational Philosophy
I am passionate about World History not only because I studied it, but I lived it. Learning about the Colosseum, Palace of Versailles, the Berlin Wall and countless other European treasures is one thing... experiencing them in person is an entirely different story! I am excited to bring the same energy and excitement that I experienced into my classroom and hopefully inspire more world travelers.
