    Welcome!

    Welcome to my class! I teach Core and Honors Biology as well as coaching the freshman cheer team. I am thrilled to be a part of the pack here at Chandler High and look forward to a fantastic year at the school of champions, Go Wolves!

    My Education and Professional Background

    I am from Thatcher, Arizona and began my collegiate experience there at Eastern Arizona College where I got my Associate's Degree in General Studies. While at EAC, I was on the cheer team and took many sports related classes, which helped me find my passion for biology!

    I then transferred to Arizona State University and got my Bachelor's this past May in Secondary Education with a concentration in Biological Studies. I'm excited about beginning my first full year of teaching here at CHS!

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that all students have the ability to not only learn but to excel inside of the classroom. I will use a variety of activities, lessons and teaching approaches so each of my students is able to learn in a way that is best for them. I intend for my classroom to be a place of exploration, perseverance and understanding to help each of my students achieve their goals in and out of the school environment.
