Welcome!
Bienvenidos a la clase de Español, Octavo Grado, de Sra. Esparza-Isaacson. Welcome to Sra. Esparza-Isaacson 8th grade Spanish class!
My Education and Professional Background
Noemy Esparza-Isaacson earned a BBA from New Mexico State University, and more recently, a Master of Education from the University of Arizona and a Master of Fine Arts from Arizona State University. Inspired by fellow educators and her passion for creative learning, she joined Santan this year as an 8th grade Spanish World Language educator. Noemy Esparza-Isaacson values innovative learning techniques and invites students to create their own learning communities within her classroom.
My Educational Philosophy
As educators, we stand to learn as much from our students as they from us. The responsibility and privilege of shaping and fostering the minds of future visionaries, innovators and problem-solvers is our purpose. We ignite their dreams and passions by establishing a safe, stimulating and welcoming classroom environment where every student’s individuality is valued and celebrated. I believe in scaffolding student learning with engaging and positive learning experiences that not only support but inspire second language acquisition.
Research shows that learning a second language boosts brain power, memory, and performance in other academic areas. Learning a second language also helps students improve upon their first language and shortens the learning curve of additional languages. Speaking a second language also enriches a student's world view and their ability to immerse themselves in other cultures.Click to Report a Website Problem
