    Welcome!

    Welcome to 8th grade ELA at Santan Junior High! This is my 7th year in the Chandler Unified district. I am extremely excited to join the Storm this year, and I am looking forward to making lifelong memories! My students will be challenged to use their knowledge in a highly engaging manner in order to grow their confidence in preparation for high school.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I received my Bachelor's degree from Boston University and have my post-baccalaurette in Education.  I also received my Masters degree in Education from Suffolk University in Boston.  I have myStructured English Immersion Endorsement, K-12, and I am Spalding certified.

    I have an extensive technology background and enjoy bringing that knowledge into my classroom.  

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe that every single child is unique and capable. All children learn differently, have varied interests, and offer unique abilities to our group. My goal as an educator is to encourage my students and help all children realize how truly amazing they are. My students will also be encouraged to take responsibility for their learning. I expect my students to take initiative to ask questions, own their mistakes, and reflect on their learning and behavior.
