My Educational Philosophy

I believe that building trust with my students and creating a safe and caring classroom community is the foundation to all learning. When students feel they belong and are valued as part of the classroom community, they are more likely to engage and take risks. This can lead to deeper learning and higher student achievement. As the teacher, I will develop lessons that are engaging and adapted to various learning styles. I will seek to build upon their prior knowledge and experiences in creative and innovative ways.
