    Welcome!

    Hello! I am so excited to be a part of Willis Junior High School! This year we are going to make learning math hands on.

    My Education and Professional Background

    Learning is something that takes place at all moments of life. 

    I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Structed English Immersion in 2021. The year after, I was trained in Elementary Montessori teaching and added a math endorsement to my teaching certificate. 

    My Educational Philosophy

    My educational philosophy centers around the importance of a student feeling safe in order to learn. I also believe that children need a large amount of nature and time outdoors.

    My classroom centers around collaboration, thinking critically about why math is the way it is, and being a positive environment for all students to feel cared for and appreciated.
