    Welcome!

    Hello and welcome Freedom Families, my name is Gabrielle Gaines and I am proud to be the School Counselor here at CTA-Freedom. I am honored to be a part of this innovative district and serve the families in our community.

    I am thrilled to continue working with students through classroom guidance lessons, small group counseling, and individual counseling. My efforts are highly collaborative as I work daily with teachers, school administration, community resources, and parents to meet the unique needs of our individual students.

    My Education and Professional Background

    I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Sciences with a minor in Sociology; as well as a Master of Education in Counseling - School Counseling from NAU. I am also recognized as a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors. My professional background has brought me skills and experiences from the fields of education, behavioral health, and professional counseling. I look forward to utilizing my diverse skill set to effectively implement a comprehensive school counseling program.

    My Educational Philosophy

    I believe all students are unique and deserve the right to feel heard, seen, and understood. When provided with a safe and nurturing environment, students have the power to reach their fullest potential in all areas of their life including academics, career, and personal development. My role as an educator is to empower, advocate, and lead students to a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.
