    2018 Orchestra Honor Students: Jillian Douglas and Julia Lyman Congratulations to 6th graders Jillian Douglas and Julia Lyman, who were selected for the Chandler Unified School District Honor Orchestra. Julia was 1st chair viola and Jillian was 3rd chair viola. On Wednesday, April 4th, they both performed with the district honor orchestra at the Chandler Center for the Arts.

  • Spring Carnival April 13th

    Liberty Spring Carnival  

    CTA Liberty will be holding our Spring Carnival on

    April 13th, 2018 from

    5:00 to 9:00 pm at the school.


    Pre-Order Wristbands and Raffle tickets until April 6th. Wristbands include unlimited rides,  games, bouncers and a face painting. Raffle tickets will be for the raffle prizes &/or the use of the photo booth. 

    Wristband Pricing: $20 for the 1st person and $15 for each additional wristband ($20 for each wristband @ the carnival)

    Raffle Ticket Pricing: $2 each, 3 for $5 or 15 for $20

    ($2 per raffle ticket @ the carnival)


    The event will include:

    • Rides and Inflatables - Energy Storm, Ferris Wheel, Meltdown Inflatable Game, 35' Slides, 22' Vertical Rush Obstacle Course, Carousel Bounce House and a Sports Arena bouncer with Slide. 

    • Games - Plinko, Football Throwing Toilet Toss, Mini gold, Treasure Dig....just to name a few

    • Face Painting 

    • Photo Booth

    • Raffle prizes - TV, American Girl Doll, Tuft & Needle Mattress & More

    • DJ Ron Howard

    • Silent Auction of Classroom Baskets

    • CTA Liberty Choir will perform

  • Battle of the Books

    March 28th was Liberty's final battle for Battle of the Books 2017-18.  With an amazing perfect score, three sixth graders will represent Liberty at the Chandler Semi-finals at the end of the month. Congrats to our winners (left to right of Mrs. Tollefson) , Isabelle Hartley, Elizabeth Hale, and Katelyn Tang!

  • CTA Liberty Chess Club

    Liberty Chess Representatives Place 3rd

    Congratulations to our Eagle Chess Club members.  Aaron (3rd grade), Jayden (4th grade), Clarke (5th grade), and Katherine (5th grade) represented Liberty in the 2018 Tsunami Chess Tournament where they placed 3rd Place in the K-6 U600 Team!

    Liberty is celebrating Dr. Seuss day with a Pajama Day on Friday, and all week long next week (March 5-9).


    The following are the special days planned for our

    Dr. Seuss Spirit Week, March 5th - 9th:

    Monday, March 5th - Crazy Sock Day

    Tuesday, March 6th - Lorax Mustache Day

    Wednesday, March 7th - Cat in the Hat Day (wear a hat)

    Thursday, March 8th - Dress like you Favorite Book Character Day

    Friday, March 9th - Dress Down Day ($1 donation) for Arizona Brain Food

  • 2018 Pennies for Patients

    Leukemia and Lymphoma Society Student Series Logo: Pennies for Patients

    Congratulations to the Liberty Eagles!  This year our school raise a total of $8,377.75 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society:

    In honor of our accomplishment, Dr. Bader has approved a Student Council requested Spirit Dress Day for Wednesday, February 28th.   The theme will be heroes.  Your Spirit Dress must represent a hero in your life.  This can include:  Heroes in history, Heroes in sports, Heroes in movies, Olympian Heroes, or any Hero that inspires you.  

    In honor of this school achievement, LLS also said that they would provide an Olive Garden Lunch Party to the top 3 donation raising classes.  The top 3 classes who will receive an Olive Garden Lunch Party from LLS and Olive Garden are:

    3rd place – Mrs. O’Dell’s 3rd grade Class (with over $550 raised)

    2nd place – Mr. Clayton’s 3rd grade Class (with over $680 raised)

    1st place – Mrs. Lerma’s 6th grade Class (with over $715 raised)

  • Liberty Eagle Yearbook Orders (and pictures)

    Yearbook Clipart The Liberty Yearbook committee is looking for school pictures for the yearbook.  If you have pictures of our students/staff for any school events, please send them to ctalibertyyearbook@gmail.com.  Please send only school pictures, not personal pictures.  All pictures need to be received by March 9th.

  • Liberty Eagles 2017-18 Superintendent's Outstanding Citizenship Award Winner

    Jay Skyles Congratulations to sixth grader, Jay Skyles, for being named CTA Liberty's Superintendent's Outstanding Citizenship Award Winner for 2017-18.  Jay was selected based off of his academic achievements and excellence in the classroom, his outstanding character and integrity as a fellow Liberty Eagle, and for being a well-rounded individual that displays excellent leadership and citizenship in school and within his community.

    Liberty Eagles Madison and Travis participates in CUSD 5K Run Several students from around the district, including Liberty's own Madison LaRue and Travis Johnson (pictured left), participated this past weekend in the Chandler Schools All-In 5K.
