Kaiser...
Welcome to 7th grade Social Studies. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to be part of the staff at Arizona College Preparatory- Oakland.
My Education and Professional Background
I am a native of Kansas where I received a Bachelor’s of Art in Sociology and Recreation from Bethany College and an Associate’s Degree in Administration and Justice from Wichita State University. Soon after graduating I was drawn to Arizona to begin my career in retiree recreation. Several years later, I attended Arizona State University to attain a teaching certificate and a Masters of Education. I am highly qualified in Language Arts and Social Studies with a certificate in Structured English Immersion. I began my teaching career in 6th grade at Goodman Elementary where I spent 10 years. I then transferred to Bogle Junior High where I taught honors language arts and ELS. I moved to ACP Oakland when it opened in 2009 as an English teacher and in 2012 I transferred to the Social Studies department.
My Educational Philosophy
All children can succeed with the right attitude, motivation, and supportive environment.
